Best Cluster Lash Extensions in Lakeland, FL

Small fans placed along the lash line for a fuller, more customizable look than a strip — without the commitment of a full individual set.

From $35 · 2 optionsOpen 7 days · walk-ins welcome

Cluster lashes are small pre-made fans of several lashes, placed along your natural lash line with lash adhesive. Because each fan is positioned separately, the length and density can be built up where you want it — fuller at the outer corners, lighter towards the inner eye — in a way a single strip lash cannot. They sit closer to the lash line than a strip and are usually worn for days rather than a single evening.

They are not the same thing as classic or volume individual extensions, where one extension or one hand-made fan is isolated onto a single natural lash for a set that is refilled every few weeks. Clusters are typically quicker to apply and meant as a shorter-term look: a wedding, a trip, a weekend of photographs, or simply a way to try lashes before committing to a full set. Cluster lashes are the only lash service on our menu, so if you want individually isolated extensions with regular fills, this is not the service for you.

Our cluster lashes come in two lengths: short or medium from $35, and long from $40. Listed prices are starting prices, and your technician confirms your full total before starting.

Choose this if…

  • You want noticeably fuller lashes for an event or a few days, not a set you maintain for months.
  • You have worn strip lashes and want something that sits closer to the lash line and lasts more than one night.
  • You are curious about extensions and want a lower-commitment way to find out whether you like the feel.
  • You would rather choose the shape — fuller corners, a lighter inner eye — than accept a one-size strip.

What happens in the chair

  1. Choose a length

You choose between short or medium and long, and talk through the look you want — wispy, full, or heavier at the outer corners. Arrive with clean lashes, free of mascara and eye makeup, so the adhesive has a clean surface to bond to.

  2. Cleanse and prepare

The lash line is cleansed and any residue removed. You keep your eyes closed or look down for most of the application.

  3. Placing the fans

Each small cluster is dipped in lash adhesive and placed along the lash line. The fans are spaced to build the density and shape you agreed on, so the result can be tapered or even across the eye.

  4. Setting

The adhesive is given a few moments to set before the lashes are gently separated and checked, so nothing is stuck to the lid and the two eyes match.

  5. Check in the mirror

Look at the result before you leave. Not happy with the shape or length? Tell us before you leave and we will correct it right then, free.

How long it lasts

Cluster lashes are a shorter-term look than individual extensions. Most people wear them for several days to around two weeks, depending on how the adhesive is treated and how quickly your natural lashes shed — each natural lash has its own growth cycle, and when it falls out, the fan attached to it goes with it. Heavier, longer clusters tend to loosen a little sooner than shorter ones.

Clusters are not usually refilled the way individual extensions are. When they start to thin, the remaining fans are removed and a fresh set applied. Removal should be done with a lash adhesive remover rather than by pulling — picking clusters off takes natural lashes with them.

Looking after it

  • Keep lashes dry and away from steam for the first 24 hours or so, so the adhesive can fully set — no hot showers on the face, saunas or swimming.
  • Avoid oil-based cleansers, makeup removers and creams around the eyes; oil breaks down lash adhesive and is a common reason clusters come loose early.
  • Skip mascara, especially waterproof, and do not use a lash curler over the clusters.
  • Try not to rub your eyes or sleep face-down on the pillow.
  • Never pull or pick a loosening cluster off — have it removed with an adhesive remover so your natural lashes stay intact.
  • If your eyes are prone to irritation or you have had a reaction to lash adhesive before, tell your technician at the start.

Good to know

What is the difference between cluster lashes and individual extensions?

Cluster lashes are small pre-made fans placed along the lash line and worn for days to a couple of weeks, then removed. Individual (classic or volume) extensions isolate one extension or one hand-made fan onto each natural lash, take much longer to apply, and are refilled every few weeks as your lashes grow. Cluster lashes are the only lash service on our menu, from $35 for short or medium and from $40 for long.

How long do cluster lashes last?

Typically several days to around two weeks. Each fan is attached to your natural lashes, so it leaves when those lashes shed naturally; oil-based products, rubbing and steam all shorten the wear. When they begin to thin, they are removed and a fresh set applied rather than filled.

Do cluster lashes damage your natural lashes?

Applied and removed properly, they sit on your own lashes and should not harm them. The damage people associate with clusters usually comes from pulling them off, which takes natural lashes with the adhesive. Have them removed with a lash adhesive remover rather than picking them off.

Can I wear mascara with cluster lashes?

Best not to. Mascara, and waterproof mascara in particular, is hard to remove without oil or rubbing, both of which loosen the adhesive. The clusters are there to give the fullness mascara would, so most people find they do not need it.

What should I do before my appointment?

Come with clean, makeup-free lashes and skip eye cream that morning. If you wear contact lenses, you may prefer to remove them. If you have sensitive eyes or have reacted to lash adhesive before, let your technician know before they begin.
